It was a great experience, from the arrival at the airport, hotel and the entire trail. Everything was very well organized and the guides were very experienced, polite and always willing to help.
I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek, and it was an incredible experience. As a solo traveler, I felt reassured from the very beginning — Ganga was always quick to reply to all my questions and made me feel confident and well-prepared even before arriving in Nepal.
A very special thanks goes to my guide, Rudra, and my porter, Dilip, who accompanied me throughout the trek. I couldn’t have asked for better support. Rudra was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. During the difficult moments, when I wasn’t feeling well, he was always patient, supportive, and attentive. I always felt safe with him by my side.
Dilip was also amazing — tireless, kind, and always with a smile.
Both Rudra and Dilip even helped by carrying my backpack to Everest Base Camp and again to Kala Patthar.

I went in with little to no training and yet completed the trek — that's how great our guide was. Ram (our guide) was well-informed, well-prepared, and overall a hoot to be with. Handling and guiding six strangers with completely different personalities is no small feat.
The company was thorough about our comfort before, during, and after the trek, and made sure we were well taken care of.
Frankly, I’d like to do the Annapurna Circuit next with the same company and guide, knowing I’m in safe hands.
I did a lot of research into who I should book the EBC trek with and decided to go with this company in the end. I emailed Ganga several times to get clarification on various things, as I was travelling as a solo female trekker. He always responded promptly to all my queries. So, booking the trek with them was a very easy decision for me and was easily done online.
On arriving in Kathmandu, I was picked up from the airport straightaway and taken to the Woodapple Hotel. The staff there were very sweet and welcoming. I was also met there by Ganga.
I met the other members of the group doing the trek with me the following morning for the debrief. We also met our guide, Ram.
Overall, the trek was absolutely amazing! There are no words to describe everything you see and experience — you just have to do it!
Ram, our guide, was superb — fun, knowledgeable, and always very caring. He definitely helped me get through the trek! I had a sickness bug on one of the trekking days, and I have to say I was looked after very well by Ram and the assistant guide, Manu, throughout. I couldn’t thank them enough. Thankfully, I recovered after 24 hours and was able to continue the trek.
The porters were equally incredible people — always smiling and very helpful. They do an amazing job! A huge thanks to them also!

I did the Annapurna Circuit solo (joining a group of two) with Nepal Hiking Team and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was organized—airport pickup, hotels, permits—so we could just focus on the trek.
Our guide, Hari, was outstanding. Calm, thoughtful, and highly experienced, he always made sure we were acclimatizing safely and helped us make smart decisions along the way. He was also open and honest about extra costs and flexible when our plans shifted. At one point, he took us to a monastery during a local ceremony, which ended up being one of the most memorable moments of the trip.
Our porters (both named Ram) were also fantastic—always upbeat, dependable, and somehow already at the tea houses before we even arrived.
Toward the end of the trek, we decided to skip the final day’s hike from Muktinath to Jomsom so we could spend more time in Pokhara. Hari quickly arranged a flight and hotel at no extra cost and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.
If you’re considering a trek in Nepal, go for Nepal Hiking Team—and especially Hari—enough. It was an unforgettable experience, made all the better by being in such good hands.

Everything was super smooth and easy doing the Annapurna Circuit through Nepal Hiking Team. We were picked up from the airport by a team member, and our hotel in Kathmandu was booked ahead of time.
Our guide, Hari, and our porters, Ram and Ram, were so kind and helpful throughout the trek. Hari was very accommodating and careful with the acclimatization process. He was also super clear about pricing and different options on our free days, and made everyone in the group feel welcome.
One day, he even took us to a monastery during a Buddhist ceremony — a very special and unique experience we’ll never forget.
There are no words!!!! They were incredible! Everything was easy to set up. Ganga responded to our questions and concerns immediately, even before we arrived. The transition from the airport to the hotel was smooth. We met the team there, including Ganga and our guide Ramsharan — “Ram.”
What can I say about Ram? Always happy, always smiling, always helpful, always encouraging, always energetic, and always fun! Long story, but I was getting ready to quit. He said, “Let’s get some food in you, slow the pace down,” and then promised he would get me there. He did just that!!!
Ram is the reason I made it. He stayed by my side the entire trek. We shared a lot of laughs too, which definitely helped! He was very knowledgeable about the history and landmarks, and explained everything we saw and visited in great detail.
The porters were incredible. The other guides from Nepal Hiking Team were incredible as well! It was an amazing experience, and that team works hard to make sure you get that!

We did the Gokyo Lake Trek with Everest Base Camp in April this year. Although we couldn’t make it to Gokyo due to sickness, Shyam (our guide) was amazing. He helped us adjust the itinerary, and we were still able to reach Everest Base Camp!
Shyam did a fantastic job, especially during the times when we weren’t feeling our best. If you're signing up for a trek, I highly recommend requesting him as your guide — it's worth it!
It was also incredibly reassuring, especially in a foreign country, to have a guide meet us at the airport and help with every step of the journey. That took a lot of the stress and planning off our shoulders and made the entire experience far more enjoyable.
