    Route Overview

The Manaslu Circuit Trek commences with your arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be greeted by a representative holding a Nepal Hiking Team display board, who will then accompany you to your hotel.

The journey officially starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Jagat. From there, the trekking adventure begins, taking you through the picturesque villages of Maccha Khola, Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Lho Gaun, and Samagaon, where an acclimatization day is scheduled. Continuing the trek from Samagaun, you will reach Samdo, Dharamshala, Bhimphedi, and Tilike before arriving at Dharapani.

Finally, the trip concludes with a drive back to Kathmandu and bidding farewell to the trekking journey.

Is the Manaslu Circuit Trek difficult?

The Manaslu Circuit Trekking is classified as a challenging trek due to various factors such as distance, terrain, and altitude. The trek covers an average of 6-7 hours of walking per day, which includes rocky and uneven paths with steep uphill and downhill sections.

Furthermore, the trek reaches a maximum altitude of 5,106m, which increases the risk of altitude sickness. To mitigate this risk, we have included enough acclimatization days in the itinerary. Our experienced guides carry a first-aid medical kit and an oximeter to monitor your oxygen level regularly.

When is the best time for the Manaslu Circuit Trek?

The best time to go for the Manaslu Circuit Trek is during the autumn and spring seasons. Autumn, from September to November, is considered the peak season as the weather is clear and dry, providing excellent visibility of the stunning mountain views. Spring, from March to May, is another excellent time to go for the trek, as the weather is also stable, and the rhododendron forests along the trail bloom with vibrant colors.

However, the winter season, from December to February, is also an option, but you need to be prepared for cold temperatures and possible snowfall. The monsoon season, from June to August, is not recommended for this trek due to the risk of landslides and difficult trail conditions.
