Unforgettable Poon Hill Trek with My Daughter – Highly Recommended!
Unforgettable Poon Hill Trek with My Daughter – Highly Recommended!
We did a 5-day Poon Hill trek booked through Nepal Trek IL, and it was an amazing experience. Guy, our Israeli contact, was very helpful in planning a route that suited our pace and needs.
In Nepal, we were warmly welcomed by Nepal Hiking Team. Our guide Bibek met us with flower garlands at the airport and took care of us from day one. Along with our porter Suzu, they made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every moment. The trek was moderately challenging—just right for us—and the team even surprised us with desserts after dinner!
After the trek, Bibek continued to help by organizing our activities in Pokhara, showing real care and professionalism throughout. I highly recommend Nepal Trek IL, Nepal Hiking Team, and especially Bibek. Hope to return soon for another trek!

Unforgettable Experience on the Annapurna Panoramic Trail
We recently completed the Annapurna Panorama Trail, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The stunning landscapes, well-planned itinerary, and smooth organization made this trek truly unforgettable.
A huge shoutout to our amazing guide, Ramesh—his knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm made the journey even more enjoyable. He kept us well-informed and comfortable the entire way. Our Sherpas, Govind and Sabil, were just as fantastic—so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their support made everything so much easier and more fun.
If you’re thinking about doing this trek, we can’t recommend it enough! The breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and expert guidance made it a truly special adventure. Huge thanks to the entire team for such a fantastic experience!

An Honest and Reliable Organisation with a Guide who was a top Man in his Profession
Nepal Hiking Team organized an intricate 30-day custom holiday for me and a friend, two schoolmates now in our late 70s. We requested a journey that would take us up the Langtang Valley, then to Chitwan Nature Reserve, on to Pokhara, and finally to Poon Hill.
When booking a trip like this, there's always some concern about finding a trustworthy and reliable organization. However, those worries vanished the moment we arrived at our hotel in Kathmandu and were warmly welcomed by Ganga, our guide Ram, and our "porter." We were provided with travel bags, jackets, and sleeping bags.
It’s worth explaining that a “porter” here is an unbelievably strong Gurkha who can carry up to 50 kg of baggage up and down mountains and through rivers, using a simple piece of plastic webbing, often cut from a sack, supported on his head. Their incredible strength and skill often go unrecognized, but it left a lasting impression on us.
From the high quality of the equipment, it was immediately clear that we were dealing with a responsible organization that knew exactly what they were doing. This first impression was confirmed throughout the trip. Ganga was always reachable by phone to answer any questions and readily made adjustments to the schedule when we asked.
Our guide, Ram, was clearly an expert. During our Langtang hike, we faced severe weather and landslides, which destroyed bridges and the return path. While many were affected, Ram skillfully found a safe route back, involving a day of climbing above the landslides and half-sliding down an improvised path. Throughout the journey, Ram was always mindful of my age and prepared to support me if needed.
All transportation between locations was efficiently arranged, including a flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu.
In summary, I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team for a safe, reliable, and adventurous journey in Nepal.

Memorable Vacation - Ghorepani poon hill with Nepal hiking team
We had to make some last-minute changes to our itinerary, deciding to spend more time in Pokhara and less in Kathmandu during our final days. Nepal Hiking Team was super flexible and happily adjusted everything for us, even on short notice.
On top of that, we wanted to book some activities like zip-lining, bungee jumping, and a helicopter tour with local providers in Pokhara. Ganga, Hari, and the team took care of all the bookings and made sure we had everything we needed.
In the end, we had an absolutely unforgettable vacation in the stunning Nepal!
Nepal is incredible on its own—but Nepal Hiking Team makes it even better!
I highly recommend booking with them, and without a doubt, I’ll be using them again for any future trips to Nepal.

Highly Recommended: Poon Hill Trek
My partner and I booked our entire Nepal trip with Nepal Hiking Team, and they did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic—well-organized from start to finish. Raj worked closely with us to plan the itinerary in detail, making sure we got exactly the trip we wanted.
Since we only had two weeks in Nepal, we chose the Poon Hill Trek so we could explore other places as well. It’s a great option for anyone short on time but still wanting a rewarding trek. The views from Poon Hill were stunning, and we stayed in cozy tea houses in mountain villages along the way.
Our guide, Santosh, was amazing—knowledgeable, thoughtful, and always making sure things ran smoothly. Best of all, he was fun and made the trek even more enjoyable!
If you’re planning a trek in Nepal, we highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and top-notch service mean we’d 100% book with them again for our next trip!
