Hence, there’s no need to worry about your plans being disturbed just because you are alone. You can join strangers from all around the world in our group-joining trek and embark on your adventure.

Or you can choose a private trip for you too. In a private trip, you can customize the itinerary, extend days, and add more trips according to your preference.

What kind of meals are offered on the trek? Can you accommodate vegetarian or other special diets?
In the tea house along the trek, you can choose any food from the given menu. Most of the food will be Continental, Tibetan, Sherpa, and Nepalese cuisines.
We can certainly arrange a vegetarian or other special diets on request.
Notes:
If you are a vegan, there are vegan meals available at the tea houses along the trek as well. You can indulge in green vegetables, potatoes, and many other food items that are vegan.
And if you require a gluten-free diet, the tea houses have meals that cater to that requirement during the trek. Our guide will also assist in preparing gluten-free meals.
Can I charge electric devices on the trek? What type of adapter might I need?
You can certainly charge your electronic devices during the trek. But please remember that the power supply is limited and dependent on weather conditions. Moreover, there is a fee of approximately USD 2-3 or equivalent in Rupees per hour for charging your devices.
In Nepal, we use three plug types — C, D, and M. The two round pins (type C) and three round pins in a triangle form (type D) are standard in the country. The country mainly operates on a 50 Hz and 230 V supply voltage. Hence, bringing along a universal travel adapter for charging is safer.
When is the best time to do the Trek?
The most well-known seasons for the trek are spring and autumn season. In Nepal, spring begins in February and goes on until May. This season offers moderate temperatures, lots of sunshine, and the bright blossoms of wildflowers and rhododendrons. Trekkers who need to see the Himalayas at their best should do trek during this time of the year and it is also one of the best times for mountain expeditions in Nepal.
Likewise, those who want to see splendid mountain views should also consider traveling during the autumn season which falls from September and November. This is top trekking season, with low precipitation, clear blue skies, and a clear view of the skyline. Obviously, you can also trek in different seasons.
Nepal's late spring is characterized by the monsoon season, which brings substantial downpours, quick streaming waterways, and lavish greenery. This is an extraordinary season if you prefer not to be on the trail full of trekkers. Winter is likewise a decent choice; despite the fact that the temperatures can be cool, you'll appreciate unimaginable perspectives on the mountains and slopes covered by snow.
Regardless of which season you pick; you will get a life-changing experience on the trek.
Can you brief me about the Typical Trekking Day?
A typical day of trekking would commence with a delicious breakfast being served to you at 7:00 am. After fueling up for the day ahead, we would set off on our hike at 8:00 am. We would trek for around 3-4 hours before making a pit stop at a teahouse for lunch. Once we've refueled, we would continue our trek.
As we reach near our destination for the day, which is usually a guesthouse, we would arrive at around 3-4 pm. Here, you would have the opportunity to freshen up and change out of your hiking clothes. You could head to the dining hall for some tea and relax with your fellow team members, playing card games or engaging in any other activity that interests you.
In the evening, at around 7 pm, we would sit down to a hearty dinner. Following dinner, our guide would brief us on the plan for the next day's hike. Then, you could retire to your rooms for the night, ready to tackle the next day's adventure.
What is the tipping policy for guides and porters? And what is the appropriate amount to tip them?
Tipping is customary in Nepal's tourism industry, particularly for the guides, porters, and drivers who provide their services during the trek. It's a way of showing gratitude for their hard work. At the end of your trek, you can offer a tip of your choice based on your satisfaction and budget. Any amount is accepted, you can tip in US dollars or Rupees at your convenience.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is considered as a moderate-level trek. During the trek, you’ll be traversing on uphill and downhill terrains. On average, the hike will be 5-6 hours daily.
Likewise, we can also talk about the elevation of the area. The highest elevated ground in the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is 4130m. At this altitude level, there is a low risk of acquiring altitude sickness. In addition, throughout the journey, you’ll be assisted by an experienced guide who’ll provide instructions on how to walk at a slow pace and about adapting to the altitude level.
Is the helicopters guaranteed to depart from the base camp to Pokhara on the planned day?
The helicopter ride completely depends on the weather conditions. Since the helicopter pads are located at an elevated altitude, the weather conditions will be highly unpredictable. Hence, it is best to remain calm in this situation and wait for the weather to be clear.
Our experience on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek was truly extraordinary. We embarked on a 6-day trek with a helicopter ride back to Pokhara. Additionally, they arranged a helicopter tour to see Mount Everest, with stops at Kalapthhar and Gokyo Lake. The service provided by Nepal Hiking Team exceeded all our expectations. Ganga Ji demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, promptly addressing all our pre-trek inquiries and following up with a check-in call afterward. Dhurba, our guide, was absolutely fantastic, accompanied by Gokul and Aatish, our reliable porters.
Having previously completed the Everest Base Camp trek, I was familiar with challenging hikes, but it was my wife and 12-year-old son's first hiking adventure. Dhurba took it upon himself to hike with my son, as my son trekked at a faster pace while I stayed back with my wife. Throughout the journey, Dhurba consistently checked on us, ensuring our well-being. They encouraged us to hike at a comfortable pace, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the journey rather than rushing against the clock.
The accommodations provided in hotels and tea houses were exceptional, offering the best available options. Dhurba made sure that we enjoyed nutritious meals every day, ensuring we obtained quality sleep and proper recovery for the following day's hike. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend NHT for any hiking expeditions in Nepal or Bhutan.
We, Narasipura family would like to thank you and your team for making once in a lifetime experience possible. All three of us loved every minute we spent in the Himalayas and Nepal. After my EBC trek, I wanted to experience Himalayas again with my family. Your team made it possible.
Every day, we knew what to expect because Paban explained us on previous evening and in the morning. In seven days, we trekked in the lush green forest, saw numerous waterfalls, were inside the clouds, refreshed ourselves in the river and stream water, took multiple breaks with tea, coffee.
Even though it was very hard, especially from 3rd to 5th day, we managed to get over the fatigue to continue because of Paban, Gokul and Ganesh’s help and encouragement. They used to tell us to take it easy (Aaramse jayenke) then we can do it, no need to rush. Paban modified the plan/itinerary based on the time of the day and our physical condition. We always ended the day before 5pm. Paban was flexible and booked the best teahouses, he made our trek very enjoyable. On fourth day, we were scheduled to trek to Upper Sinuwa. He changed it, we stayed at Lower Sinuwa. Because of 4th day’s change of plan, he modified fifth-day trek too.
Every day, as soon as we woke up, we started off with a hot cup of coffee or tea, they served to us without fail. Enjoying first few minutes of the day looking the sunrise in the mountains with a hot drink was so peaceful and relaxing. At the end of every day, we had fun, talking, playing cards, and having delicious dinner with fresh fruits as dessert. It was a beautiful experience. Paban, Gokul and Ganesh treated us royally and with respect, we are grateful to them.
Spending last two days of our trek in the Machapuchare and Annapurna basecamps were a bliss, surrounded by the Annapurna mountain range was just amazing, and unbelievable.
On the last day of the trip, we loved the cultural tour of the three cities, we were mesmerized by the artwork.
Hope we can come back and enjoy Nepal again.
We appreciate everything you did for us to accomplish our dream trek.
