My friend and I did the EBC/Three Passes trek a few weeks ago (a mutual friend had already gone to EBC with the Nepal Hiking Team and loved the experience, so we were repeat customers of sorts).

Our guide, Uttam, and our porter, Nima, were incredibly professional and helpful for the ~20 days that we were on the trail.

Their skills, care, and guidance really made a difference during the few times we had to traverse rough terrain in snowy, rainy, and windy weather, as well as when dealing with the effects of altitude and dry mountain air.

Over and over we met other people on the trail whose guides/companies delivered a noticeable lesser experience, and each day we were more grateful to have booked with NHT.

On top of everything, Uttam and Nima proved to be warm, friendly, patient, wonderful trail companions, routinely going above and beyond to deliver a fantastic experience.

I'm reviewing my trip to KBC and Chitwan NP organized by Ganga from Nepal Hiking Team--thank you so much! My guide in the mountains was Arjun Dahal and my porter Furba Sherpa--I could not wish for a more supportive and knowledgeable crew. We could not get all the way to KBC due to weather turning bad (snowing and temperature dropping to -6F), but still had a great time and took a lot of memorable photos. y guide in Chitwan was Asharam--also had great time, saw Rhinos(many), wild boar, sloth bears(my first time), and a lot of birds. There is a good reason Nepal Hiking Team is number 1 on most review platforms! After hearing good reviews, we selected them for our 2-week Annapurna Circuit trek.

Our guide, Shyam, could not have been better. He was so knowledgeable, so attentive to our needs, and made our trek the best it could have been. Our porter Robben was an absolute machine, carrying our bags and speeding off every day like a mountain goat!

The team makes sure you’ve slept well, eaten well and feel fit and healthy along every section of the trek.

The trek itself was stunning - the range of landscapes was so impressive and made every day different. The pass was tough at altitude, but so rewarding. Shyam, Uttam, Gokhul, and Robben had us dancing to Nepalese tunes at the top and made sure our pace over the pass wasn’t too strenuous. Our whole group (Brits, Americans & Nepalese) got on so well - we were trekking with friends the entire way.

If you’re thinking about booking this trek with Nepal Hiking Team, we could not encourage you more to do it!

We discovered for ourselves why Nepal Hiking Team was the best tour operator in Nepal. Being a group of 6 non-regular hikers with differing fitness levels, and with very restrictive company leave policies, we wrote to NHT (Mr Ganga) to ask if it was possible to climb to Annapurna Base Camp in 9 days. Mr Ganga not only patiently answered our queries (through more than 30 emails!), but he also managed to craft the perfect itinerary for us, including calibrated route lengths each day, and ample R&R time in Kathmandu and Pokhara pre- and post-trek. We greatly appreciated his patience and dedication in making our trek work within our time constraints.

NHT's two guides, Deepak and Bishal, were the best local guides we could ever ask for. They were professional in guiding us through the trek, taking close care of us despite our differing paces, and attending to our every need such as getting food and water promptly. They skillfully adjusted our itinerary on the fly based on our projected paces by calling ahead to guesthouses to plan our accommodations. Most importantly, they were like our great friends chatting to us, keeping our morale high, and accompanying us for great food during our R&Rs Halfway through, when 4/6 of our team developed knee pain from the brutal route, they immediately sourced horses and helped them down the path safe and sound.

I cannot recommend NHT, Mr Ganga, and Mr Deepak / Bishal enough! If we get a chance to return to Nepal, I won't hesitate at all to reach out to them again.

Had such a great experience doing the Everest Base Camp trek with Arjun and Bikash, as well as our porters Janam and Sudip. I’m a 27yo solo female traveler from the US and booked with Nepal Hiking Team based on positive online reviews - very glad I went with them. Throughout my entire time in Nepal, from airport pickup to drop off two weeks later, Arjun made sure I was taken care of - safe, eating and drinking enough, getting good sleep. We dealt with some challenges on the trek, incl team members that struggled with the altitude, and Arjun and Bikash handled everything like pros. I plan to reach back out to NHT if (when!) I have the chance to hike in Nepal again.

Jos and I started our 18-day trek to Everest Base Camp, the Cho La and Renjo La Passes on the 6th May 2025, and over the course of the journey, we saw the most incredible sights, met the kindest people, and gained a deeper appreciation for the Himalayas.

I honestly cannot recommend our guide Bishal highly enough, he was so knowledgeable about our surroundings, as well as always keeping Jos and me entertained and enthused about our walk. He regularly joined us to play cards, even occasionally winning a game of Monopoly Deal and chatting with us about the day just gone, or the adventures that awaited us. Indra, our porter, was also amazing. I am still so impressed with the ease with which he seemed to carry our bags and race up the mountains. Without him and Bishal, Jos and I would absolutely not have been able to complete our trek, and I am so grateful to them for all they did.

The couple of weeks I spent in the Himalayas, catching peaks at Everest and trekking along incredibly stunning trails, will stay with me forever, and I am so appreciative to Nepal Hiking Team for accommodating such a special experience.

I can't say enough about the whole team at Nepal Hiking Team. They really made my trek unforgettable. Ganga and will answer any question you might have within a few hours. They picked me up at the airport and arranged everything. ABC is a great trek, and I loved everything about it. I was fortunate enough to accompany Arjun, who was a seasoned guide and an even better person.

Lam, my porter, was great as well. They really go out of their way to personalize the trek based on your needs and interests. I saw many of the other companies along the route, and they all seemed nice. However, it was pretty clear that this company goes even more above and beyond. I would highly recommend them.

What an unforgettable experience. We completed the EBC + Chola Pass trek, which took us through the most stunning landscapes and brought us to tea houses and villages rich in culture and authenticity. The Nepal hiking team staff were incredible, and their attention to detail was excellent. Safety was paramount, and our amazing guides Ram and Ramgi were beyond accommodating to all of our needs.

Pickup at the Kathmandu airport was seamless, and the hotel was centrally located, offering easy access to attractions around the city. I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team, and I look forward to returning for more trekking.

The Nepal hiking team did an excellent job for all 10 of us. We felt attended to, cared for, and every little detail was taken care of. We so appreciated the kindness, reliability, and leadership of our main guide, Arjun, as well as the assistant guides, Sujan and Benek.
