I began planning a few months ago and decided to go with Nepal Hiking Team (actually because of the good reviews on trip advisor!) and I am so glad I did. Ganga answered all of my emails so quickly, outlined all of the inclusions and exclusions and there was nothing hidden, helped me arrange for a hostel for a few days before I met the trekkers as requested. Balaram was my contact while I was in Nepal; gave me a prompt airport pick-up, even leaving a cell number where I could reach him, answered all of my questions, was always so on time for meeting me, made sure I was fully prepared before the trek began and had everything I needed.
I was partnered up with two lovely British gals so our team was three trekkers, two guides (Bheg and Raj) as well as porter. We had a blast! There were tons of laughs! The guides were knowledgeable, fun, took very good care of us, and were supportive, and safe....and pretty handy with the camera and with the dance moves! Ha-ha! They checked in about our health, made sure we acclimatized, ate well, slept, etc. I was extremely pleased and think it was part of the reason I made it to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar!
I now want to return to Nepal and will 100% book another trek with Nepal Hiking Team (hopefully with Bheg again!) and recommend them very highly. I have also trekked in India and Patagonia, and I think this company is excellent! Thanks for everything!! Also a drop off to the airport on the way home - I was a lone female traveler and had a great experience in Nepal, but I felt like they were my contacts and advocates while I was there! Great, great trip!
