We undertook the 18-day Classic Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Hiking Team and had the most amazing experience.
Our guide, Madan, was humorous, spoke perfect English, was highly knowledgeable, and did everything within his power to ensure we had the best time. Madan is a true expert on the Annapurna circuit and knows every path, road, guesthouse, and every single mountain along the way. He also looked out for our health and assisted us when we were feeling unwell or struggling with the altitude. We had a lot of fun together and will dearly miss singing along the trails and playing Nepali card games or chess in the evening.
We also had a great porter, Manu, who carried our bags for the entire trek. He was strong, never slowed us down (quite the opposite, which we found very impressive), and assisted us with anything we needed.
Before our trek, Ganga from the Nepal Hiking Team was also extremely helpful in answering our endless questions about the trek and always responded very quickly. We also found the trek to be great value for money (with all meals included) compared to other agencies. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend the Nepal Hiking Team to anyone considering a trek in the region.
