Navigating your way out of the airport in Kathmandu can be challenging, and upon arrival we didn't know what to expect, but from the moment the 6 in our party landed, Ganga and the team at NHT made sure everything was amazingly smooth. From airport pick up, a great hotel in Kathmandu, a thorough briefing, good gear provided, and then, most importantly, a GREAT and Fantastic Experience a trek to Everest Base Camp, from start to finish, these guys do not leave any detail untouched. They are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable in the extreme; combine that with the great value of their offering, and if I had my time again I wouldn't consider any other way of putting our trip together. Our guide (Bim) was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and the lodgings provided were the best available on the trail. We also knew that, in the event of any unforeseen events, Ganga and the team in the office were just a phone call away and knew exactly what to do. It's the little things that count - like a guide who can be flexible to accommodate the groups' needs when any issue arises, or the whole team going out of their way to help us out over and above what was needed upon our return to Kathmandu.
I can't hesitate to recommend the Nepal Hiking Team enough. They are both true professionals, and warm, caring, wonderful people, and travelling with them will ensure your experience of Nepal is truly enjoyable and memorable. A great outfit, with the added bonus of a personal touch which is hard to beat.
