I had an amazing experience with Nepal Hiking Team! I was a bit nervous as a solo female traveler, but they made me feel very comfortable, and the guides (especially our main guide, Prakash!) were so competent, kind, and responsible. We had a delay in our flight to Lukla due to weather, so we took a helicopter ride, and Ganga (trekking company owner) provided proper documentation for an insurance claim. I really wanted to support a local company and felt that the groups weren't as large as those of other companies we passed by (in a good way!).
The other Nepal Hiking Team guides and groups we met along the trek were also really nice and had good vibes, which I think is a testament to this company as a whole. Prakash was so kind and organized and made our trek seamless, and always made sure to check in when a couple of us got some mild altitude sickness. I felt very safe and cared for the entire trek. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I definitely recommend picking this reputable local trekking company!
