A cultural trek to the Everest Base Camp

In my opinion, it is a lot better to travel solo if observing the place's culture is the primary goal of the visit. It was undoubtedly one of my top priorities when I decided to visit Nepal and do the EBC trek with Nepal Hiking Team. Along with a tour of the city on the first day, the trekking journey was also filled with spiritual visits to monasteries and other stupas that line the area of the mountains. The Everest Base Camp was also one of the best and most beautiful places that I have had the pleasure of visiting.

As discussed, I spent a bit more time at the Tengboche Monastery, and the trek arrangement done by NHT was all very professional and extremely well-executed. My guide, Raj, was also a very good person to be with as he provided me insight into many of the places and the monastery. I had a bit of a difficult time going further from Gorekshep as I had a headache. My guide was considerate enough to stop at the accommodation for as long as I needed to continue. With medicine and a bit of rest, though, I was able to carry on and completed the trek with my team.

I want to thank NHT and everyone involved in the trekking journey for a beautiful job. I was well taken care of and felt secure. The insightful knowledge I was provided at the monastery and other temples in the mountains and my guide's translations of the language while I was trying to speak with the monks there is appreciated wholeheartedly. I am immensely pleased and content with the services and recommend Nepal Hiking Team for anyone looking for a good travel agency.
