The ideal time to set off on the Tamang Heritage Trail is in the months of March-May or September- November. These months fall under spring and autumn, considered the best seasons for trekking.

We do not recommend treks during the monsoon and winter seasons. This is due to heavy landslides and snowfall in that area. Hence, choosing only the most suitable time for the trek is advisable.
