Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek is a beautiful journey that combines the glory of both Rolwaling valley and Khumbu region of Nepal. This exciting and challenging trek takes you to a remote location and lets you experience the beautiful views of Himalayas with the challenge of crossing high mountain pass. The wilderness that lies in the quaint mountains and remote trail is something that you will enjoy as you walk along the way to Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass.

The untouched and unexplored valleys of Rolwaling that lies beneath the Gaurishankar range is mystical. The classic combination of mountain views with alluring scenery, charming villages and tranquil mountain passes makes this place lively despite of its isolation. The panoramic views of mountains like Mt. Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lakpa, Mount Everest, Tso Rolpa Lake, etc. that this trek offers is splendid. The breath-taking beauty that lies in the waterfalls, glaciers and ancient monasteries adds to the splendour of this region. Many research has been made about a mysterious creature called Yeti and the researches has gone in vain however it is believed that a wild creature that looks like human i.e. Yeti lives in this region. The local people have reported about the Yeti many times.

Rolwaling valley is also considered as one of the hidden valleys in Himalayas. Lying between the snow-capped mountains on either side, the valley is a wild place burrowed in between quaint and majestic mountains. Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek starts with a drive to Shigatte from where we pass various villages like Jagat, Simigaun, and Donga to Beding. We open up to the valley of Rolwaling as we reach near the villages of Beding and Na.  We enjoy our days exploring the villages and walking all the way up to Yalung Base Camp. Leaving Na village, we ascend up to Tso Rolpa and then to Rolwaling glacier that lies just below the Rolwaling glacier. We further ascend to Tashi Lapcha Pass from where the views of mountains, passes and the mountainous landscape looks amazing. We further descend down our trail to Namche via Thame and make our way to Kathmandu via a flight from Lukla.

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 02: Preparation for trek and Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Sigatte (1020m/3345ft) Duration: 7-8 hrs

Day 04: Sigatte - Jagat (1250m/4100ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs

Day 05: Jagat - Simigaon (2025m/6643ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 06: Simigaon - Donga (2800m/9185ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs

Day 07: Donga - Beding (3690m/12105ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs

Day 08: Beding Rest and acclimatization day: Malung Kharka hike: 5-6 hrs

Day 09: Beding - Na (4185m/13750ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs

Day 10: Na Rest and acclimatization day – Yalung La hike: 4-5 hrs

Day 11: Na - Nyiduk Kongma (4750m/15582) Duration: 5-6hrs

Day 12: Nyiduk Kongma - Drolumbau Glacier (5205m/17075) Duration: 5 -6 hrs

Day 13: Drolumbau Glacier - Tashi Laptsa pass (5755m/18820ft) and decent to Camp at (5460m/17,912ft) Duration: 6 -7 hrs

Day 14: Camp - Thame (3805m/12482) Duration: 5-6 hrs

Day 15: Short and easy hike to Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft)

Day 16: Relax and hike to Everest view hotel

Day 17: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu
