Trip Overview

Talking about Rock climbing, it is an adventure activity in which the climbers climb up, down and across the natural rock formations or an artificially made rock walls. The climbers should climb up through the pre-defined route to the end point without falling. As the route is long, a climber needs proper endurance capacity to reach the top. Climbing in itself is an exhilarating and tiring task. Climbing is not just about climbing, it is about techniques of climbing which we can learn from the climbing instructor or from continuous practice.

Climbing is not as easy as it seems and sometimes it can be really dangerous so proper precautions is a must. Nepal being a Himalayan country has many rocky terrains which are suitable for rock climbing purpose. For climbing, you should get rid of a phobia i.e. phobia of heights. If you aren’t afraid of heights then climbing is all about practice and technique. You will built up the stamina as you work out day by day.

So, join Nepal Hiking Team for rock climbing fun. We assure you a safe adventurous climbing experience.

Rock Climbing Day tours itinerary:

You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning, after your breakfast at approximately 8:45 – 9:00 a.m. You will then be transferred to the forested hill of Nagarjun. After around three kilometres drive from the hotel, we reach Nagarjun hill for rock climbing experience.

We get off from our vehicle 50 metres away from the rock where we will be welcomed with a short briefing by our rock climbing instructor. The instructor will let us know about our gears and do’s and don’ts during the rock climbing experience.

The briefing will be followed by a couple of basic training for climbing. Accomplishing the basic training, we continue climbing more difficult rock. We are just back (in Australia) from 3 weeks in Nepal. The itinerary was organized by The Nepal Hiking Team, a Nepal-based company recommended to us by friends in Brisbane. And what a good recommendation it was! The company is professional, efficient,

Amazing Everest Base Camp trekking experience. They were exceptionally well-organized operators, and nothing was too difficult for them. Ganga fielded our dozens of Pre-Trip questions and organized all hotel and airport connections. Paban and Dipak could
