Have you been looking for an adventurous journey in the lap of Annapurna? A Trek that takes you into the Annapurna region of Nepal and is a famous expedition above 6000m. is the Pisang Peak. The peak was first climbed in 1955 in a German expedition and has become popular. This journey takes you to Pisang Peak’s summit and also explores the Manang valley. The climbing journey offers splendor views of the Annapurna range, Tilicho peak, Gangapurna, and many other glaciers in this region. Generally considered a moderately easy climb, the trek is suitable for most beginners. In this course, you will find yourself walking on the beautiful forest paths amongst the tall mountain peaks, lush landscapes, and vivid ecosystems. As the Annapurna region is one of the most popular trails in the country, you are likely to meet many trekkers on this tour.
On the 19 days journey, you will be walking past many stupas, shrines, monasteries and get an opportunity to learn about some of the Nepalese ethnicities. On your way to the base camp via the Pisang village, you will observe many woodlands and pastures and set the camp at Kharka (4380 m.). We trek further to the high command at an elevation of 5416 m. approximately. After reaching the peak summit (6191 m.), we return to the base camp to journey to Manang.
The hike towards the isolated valley of Manang serves as a spiritual experience to some. We can immediately differentiate between the diverse landscapes. The dry and semi-arid landscape of Manang is a bit harsher environment, but you will still be blessed with the supreme views of the Himalayan peaks. The trails during the ascend can get steep and sloppier as we cross the rocky rides making our way through the challenging Thorong La Pass (5416 m.). We descend to Muktinath, serving as an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. The region abodes many ethnic Tibetans and Buddhists. Our journey takes us further to Jomsom and our final stop, Pokhara, before we return to the bustling city of Kathmandu.
The Pisang peak climbing is considered one of the most natural trekking peaks in Nepal is suitable to visit mostly all year round. But out of all the seasons Nepal experiences, trekkers generally prefer to visit the place during spring and autumn as there are lower chances of rainfall and snowfall. The skies during this time are clear and offer the best views of the surrounding peaks and landscapes.
