Mark, USA My family of four went to Everest Base Camp just before the pandemic hit the world. It was a long-awaited family vacation. We go camping whenever we can. But my teen boys were worried about being in the remote mountains for two weeks. Nonetheless, they were still up for a challenge. We knew about Nepal Hiking Team through a family friend. They previously did one of their treks and had only lovely things to say about their services. And we, too, listening to their experience, contacted Nepal Hiking Team for our family vacation. They were cautious with our requests and requirements. They were quick in responding to our questionable amount of inquiries. They were always thorough and prompt. Likewise, our pill of happiness and motivation, our guide Bhim was always there to encourage us whenever we felt it wasn't easy to go forward. He assured us we could finish the journey, and we did too. He never forgot to remind us to stay hydrated and that also on an hourly basis. He routinely checked our pulses to check our oxygen level and was always asking if we needed anything. The trekking team took good care of us during the trek. As much as our safety was given a priority, they made sure we were enjoying our trek as well. He was a master of trekking and had every bit of information about the mountains. He knew the mountains' names and continued to amaze us with his knowledge of mountains and their people. Our family vacation was fantastic, and its praise goes to the company and our talented guide Bhim. Without him and our robust porters, we would not enjoy the mountains' beauty to the fullest. We are happy that we went with our friend's recommendation and choose NHT for our extraordinary journey. We plan to visit again when all the commotion caused by the virus subsides.
Jessica, Australia I am glad that I decided to undertake the Everest Base Camp Trek. My partner and I both are avid hikers. Before this, we had never opted for trekking. Nepal was on our list of places to go for a long time, but we never got a chance to dwell on it due to work. But last winter, everything worked for us. And we decided it is time to visit Nepal. We both wanted to do trekking, but since Nepal's mountains are not easy for beginners, I was more leaning towards doing easy and short treks in Nepal. But my partner was so keen on doing the Everest Base Camp trek, so we agreed to the EBC trek. Even though we had decided on the hike, I was still skeptical about doing it because of its high-altitude nature. And when we found Nepal Hiking Team, we stated our concern to them as well. They were so helpful and informed them, and the trek is doable by the first-time trekker. They advised we got on training mode immediately as we still had few months left before starting the walk. Since I was the most concerned one, I paid most attention to building physical stamina. After months of training and waiting, it was finally time for the trek, and when we arrived in Nepal, Kathmandu airport, NHT was warmly welcomed by the team. A day before the hike, Ganga briefed about the walk, and the next day we got on the flight to Lukla. It was frightening but worthy of an adventurous experience. Our guide Narayan, amazed us with his knowledge about the mountains. He always made sure we were comfortable on the trek and never rushed our journey. He instead obliged to approach the walk smoothly and slowly. As I was more conscious about getting altitude sickness, he shared many helpful tips to avoid altitude sickness. He was very patient and always answered whenever we had one too many questions to ask. And for that reason, we are thrilled we choose NHT and have Narayan for our trek. If it were not for NHT, I would not be able to experience the trek's beautiful features. I am so thankful to NHT for arranging this wonderful and unique. All the credits go to your fantastic team for our wonderful experience in the Himalayas. We will revisit Nepal and have your company plan our next trip!
Paul Wilson, USA Everest Base Camp Trek was on my bucket list ever since I saw the bewildering Everest range images on my Pinterest page. That scenic destination stole my heart in a bit. So, I was like I had to be there someday. And when the perfect time came around, I started preparing for the trek. Nepal Hiking Team was recommended to me by my friends who trekked EBC a few years back. I immediately contact them and arrange my most awaited journey. My guide for the trek was Paban, and I am lucky to have him on the hike. I am a slow walker as I did not have any experience of trekking. He was very attentive about my pace. I never asked to walk faster as I was trekking in a group. He has a broad knowledge of the mountains and about the Sherpa people. He explained about all the mountains visible to our eyes. There were many things best all through the journey. A few of my best experiences on the trek would be breakfast at Everest View Hotel, rest day in Namche Bazaar, and Everest base camp itself. Also, the flight to Lukla was quivering, which fulfilled my need for an adrenaline rush. Similarly, the early morning hike to Kala Patthar fulfilled my thirst for breathtaking views of the mountains. From Kala Patthar, we got an up-close view of Mt. Everest, not from the base camp. I am glad I went on this journey. It was everything I had always expected it to be. And for not letting my expectations down, I am very much thankful to Paban and Nepal Hiking Team for making this trek a trip of a lifetime. From the beginning of the journey to Nepal's last day, they were always present to look after my needs. I am glad I choose them and very thankful for unforgettable memories. Every part of the journey was cherishing, and I look forward to exploring more trekking trails of Nepal in the future.
John, United States A good agency is the key to making or breaking a good travel experience. This is the most important factor that I look for when I am deciding on selecting a travel agency for my trips. For my visit to Nepal, the peak trekking season had many trekkers doing the Everest Base Camp Trek and I was no exception. When I checked Nepal Hiking Team, I was thoroughly impressed by their proficient website. When I e-mailed them about my query, I was surprised and immediately impressed by how prompt and detailed the responses were. Then as the arrangement of the trip was underway, I was thoroughly convinced that I had selected a good agency. It was proven true when I arrived in Nepal for the trip. I was greeted by Rabin, my guide for the trip. His well-mannerism and kind nature made me feel at ease. Then with a good briefing by Mr. Ganga at the office fully sealed my concentrated belief that I was in good hands. This relieved my peace of mind and I just let go the entire trip. It was the most fun I have ever had!  I had the best services and Rabin’s guidance made the trip into a smooth sailing! Thank You Nepal Hiking Team! Hope you guys will have more tourist after this ongoing pandemic.
Gabrielle, Australia A family trip was organized to the Everest Base Camp, a long-awaited adventure that was on our list for the longest time. We had wanted to organize the trip a year ago, but circumstances prevented us from doing so. Nevertheless, we finally did the trek this year and are ever so happy about it. With seven in our group, we had members ranging from 20 to 50 years old. Our guide was considerate and hiked with all of us while arranging the pacing. Logistically, everything went very smoothly. On our first day we were given a great tour of Kathmandu and also a briefing to pick up our gear and help on re-packing. Nepal Hiking Team had reservations made for the Lukla flight early in the morning and off we all went for the trek the next day. Staying at the lodges and guesthouses the higher up we went, we had the view of the mountains right from our windows! Our guide was always able and willing to make changes for us and overall, I feel like we stayed in the best available places. The itinerary of our trek was very reasonable and had enough acclimatization days to fit into the schedule. We spent two nights at Namche and Dingboche as well and had good tours of the villages. Our guide and our porters were very open and willing to help accommodate us in any way they could. Overall, the trek was beautiful and had many great and splendid moments. We are grateful to Nepal Hiking Team and their efforts. Arranging one of the best trips for our family, Nepal Hiking Team played a big part in making sure that we had a good time, and we most certainly had a grand old time in the mountains of the country with great people and beautiful landscape!
