Your Nepal Luxury Escape begins when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. One of the Nepal Hiking Team representatives will meet you at the airport and transfer you swiftly to your hotel.
After check-in, you can relax at the hotel or take some time to settle into Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time, we will brief you about the itinerary, weather, transportation, and the experiences planned for the coming days.
Today, we will start with an early morning heli ride to the Lukla airport, the gateway to the Himalayas, for the Everest helicopter tour.
From Kathmandu, the helicopter flies toward the Everest region, offering aerial views of the Himalayan landscape as you approach the Khumbu Valley. The flight provides a different perspective of the mountains, glaciers, valleys, and settlements that trekkers normally experience on foot.
After arriving at the Lukla airport, we will take a 30-minute refueling break before heading towards the base camp. From the airport to Kalapatthar, the heli ride takes around 10 minutes.
The helicopter lands at Kalapatthar, at approximately 5,545 m, for 10–15 minutes, subject to weather, aviation regulations, and operational conditions. From here, you can take photographs and enjoy close views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks.
From Kalapatthar, we will fly to Kunde village for a warm breakfast with mountain views. Kunde is a small Sherpa settlement offering panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After that, we will fly to Lukla airport for refueling and return to Kathmandu. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation at your hotel or to roam around the neighborhood.
Today we will explore Kathmandu's cultural and religious heritage, starting at Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most important Hindu pilgrimage sites, located along the Bagmati River. This heritage site includes multiple temples, shrines, traditional architecture, and the riverfront ghats, the Hindu cremation sites.
From here, we will continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most significant Tibetan Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. Here, visitors can observe pilgrims performing kora around the stupa while exploring the monasteries and traditional shops surrounding the monument.
The sightseeing continues to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where historic palace courtyards, temples, and traditional Newari architecture provide an insight into Kathmandu's royal past.
We will end the day exploring Swayambhunath Stupa or the Monkey Temple, situated on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. The site combines Buddhist and Hindu traditions and provides broad views of the city.
After breakfast, we will leave Kathmandu and travel by private vehicle toward Chitwan National Park. The landscape gradually changes as you leave the Kathmandu Valley, following river valleys and winding through Nepal's lush hills before descending toward the warmer Terai plains.
Upon arrival in Chitwan, check into your luxury lodge and enjoy lunch. Depending on the arrival time and lodge schedule, we will explore the nearby park area or simply relax within the lodge surroundings.
Chitwan offers a completely different environment from the Himalayas, with subtropical forests, grasslands, wetlands, and a diverse range of wildlife.
Today, we will spend a full day exploring Chitwan National Park's natural environment. We will start with an exciting canoe ride on the Rapti River, spotting gharials, marsh muggers, turtles, and birds.
The park is known for wildlife including the greater one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild boar, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. The Bengal tiger also inhabits the park, although sightings are never guaranteed.
A guided safari allows you to understand the forest ecosystem while learning about wildlife conservation in Nepal. After the tour ends, you can return to your lodge to rest and relax after the day's activities.
Today you leave Chitwan and travel toward Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha.
After reaching Lumbini, visit the Maya Devi Temple, the central sacred site within the Lumbini Sacred Garden. The site contains archaeological remains associated with the Buddha's birth, including the Marker Stone.
You will also see the Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BCE. Its inscription is an important historical testimony connecting Lumbini with the birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha. The Sacred Garden also includes the Pushkarini Pond and other archaeological and religious sites.

On a personal note, proper gear, including a powerful down jacket for -20 degrees Celsius and a proper hiking backpack, is super essential.
