    Best Season

Wondering when is the best time to book this tour? Well, here you go:

The Khumbu region is well known for its unpredictable weather. Hence, it is very important for you to know the best season to book this tour.

For the Everest Helicopter Tour, we recommend you book the tour in the Spring (March-May) and Autumn(September-November) season. These two seasons are the best times to be mesmerized by the Himalayas in the Khumbu region.

The weather during these times is mild and warm with clear blue skies; you can enjoy the magnificent views of the glorious mountains without the disturbance of the heavy clouds.

    Alternative Tours

    • Annapurna Heli trek, Everest Heli Tours - Best Experience

Our experience on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek was truly extraordinary. We embarked on a 6-day trek with a helicopter ride back to Pokhara. Additionally, they arranged a helicopter tour to see Mount Everest, with stops at Kalapthhar and Gokyo Lake. The service provided by Nepal Hiking Team exceeded all our expectations. Ganga Ji demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, promptly addressing all our pre-trek inquiries and following up with a check-in call afterward. Dhurba, our guide, was absolutely fantastic, accompanied by Gokul and Aatish, our reliable porters.

Having previously completed the Everest Base Camp trek, I was familiar with challenging hikes, but it was my wife and 12-year-old son's first hiking adventure. Dhurba took it upon himself to hike with my son, as my son trekked at a faster pace while I stayed back with my wife. Throughout the journey, Dhurba consistently checked on us, ensuring our well-being. They encouraged us to hike at a comfortable pace, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the journey rather than rushing against the clock.

The accommodations provided in hotels and tea houses were exceptional, offering the best available options. Dhurba made sure that we enjoyed nutritious meals every day, ensuring we obtained quality sleep and proper recovery for the following day's hike. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend NHT for any hiking expeditions in Nepal or Bhutan.

    • Everest Helicopter Sightseeing Tours

I had the pleasure of undergoing the Everest Heli tours last February and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I like going through adventure activities and as I found that Nepal Hiking Team also has an arrangement of a helicopter ride to the world’s tallest mountain, I knew that I was going to try it out. So, early in the morning of my scheduled flight, I was called by the managers of Nepal Hiking Team and they made sure that everything was in order and ready to go. I was then taken to the airport and then, as I boarded the helicopter, the adventure had begun. The flight of the helicopter from Kathmandu to Khumbu was the most beautiful flight. I loved looking at the change of sceneries down below, the sight of the city faded away and instead, there were green forests and wide open spaces. Looking at the sights from the helicopter was surreal. As I neared Everest, the whole scenery was breath-taking. The snowy mountain peak looked like stacks of frozen fudge! The white uneven terrain of the mountain is hard to describe! I looked at the villages and the Tengboche monastery as well, they were very nice to look at. Overall, the flight lasted for about three hours and I was safely back at my hotel after it was finished. But, despite it only being for a short amount of time, I still really have the whole experience of it stuck in my mind very vividly. I still can feel the cold mountain air and look at the sights as if I am going through it right at this very moment.

Nepal Hiking Team did a fantastic job of arranging and managing the entire thing, I did not have any sort of problems or hassles at all during my trip. The staff and the managers were very helpful and polite, guiding for the trip and steering me to the right direction regarding the trip. For an amazing experience, I am eternally grateful for NHT, and I would definitely recommend Nepal Hiking Team for anybody who is looking for a good travel agency because, in my opinion, NHT is as good as you’re going to get.
