Day 01 - Arrival day in Nepal

We hope you had a wonderful flight. At the airport, you will meet our office representative who will smoothly transfer you to the trip hotel in Kathmandu. At the hotel, after you are checked in, we shall conduct a small meeting to give your brief details about the trip. After that, there is no schedule planned for the rest of the day so you relax.

Day 02 - Full day Kathmandu valley tours

Today is one of the busiest days of the tour. You will visit UNESCO listed cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu valley.

You will visit the wonderful Swayambhunath stupa which is also known as monkey temple. The stupa holds some of the greatest statues of deities from Buddhist chronology and Hindu temples. Also, the view of the Kathmandu valley from the top of the stupa is truly brilliant.

Another stop on today’s tour is Boudhanath stupa which is another pilgrimage site for avid Buddhist followers which also draws large young visitors.

Moving from there, we made a stop at the sacred temple of Hindu followers- Pashupatinath temple. You will be nostalgic while you are here. All the rites and rituals will capture your attention from all the other hassle that is happening around the temple.

Thereafter another destination for the day is Kathmandu Durbar Square where the tour of the medieval museum will give an insight into the historical background of Nepal. Also, the building and the temples around the durbar square are equally enthralling to observe.

After the tour, we will drive back to our trip hotel, breakfast included.

Day 03 - Day Hike to Nagarkot, 3-4 Hours

Promptly in the early morning, you will wake up and get ready for a drive towards Sankhu where we start our climb to Nagarkot. While passing by, we will appreciate watching rice fields, towns, and forests and meet the locals. After about 3-4 hours of hike, you will finally reach the beautiful town of Nagarkot. Experience the distant Himalayan view and for the view of setting sun amidst the massive snow-capped peaks. We shall call it a day and spend the overnight at the Hotel in Nagarkot, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 04 - Nagarkot - Kathmandu with sightseeing tours of Bhaktapur and Patan

Get ready to capture the first ray of the day falls on the massive mountains coloring it in the shade of orange. On a clear day, you will be able to see the panoramic views of mountains like Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar Himal, Manaslu range, Mt. Everest, Cho – Oyu and many more.

Nagarkot is the nearest place from Kathmandu to get the distant view of Mount Everest. Thereafter enjoy the glorious mountain views and sunrise. With a staggering memory of the stunning mountain vistas we will drive back to Kathmandu with extensive visits of the Bhaktapur. We explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square where a palace of 55 windows, The Golden Gate, The National Art Gallery, the Taleju Temple, Nyatapola Temple and more will present a wonderful experience. The hodgepodge of shikhara and pagoda styled temple and the art and architecture fascinate any visitor.

Next, we will head to Patan and investigate around Patan Durbar Square. In the Durbar Square, we will visit the Krishna Mandir, Golden Gate, the Golden Window, Sundari chowk, the celebrated Krishna sanctuary, Char Narayan sanctuary, with uncommon workmanship and architecture.

Later in the day, you will be transferred to the hotel, get freshened up and we shall head for a farewell cultural dinner. At the dinner, various dances representing different ethnic communities will be presented.

Day 05 - Departure/Tour Ends

Approx. 3 hours before your departure time, our office representative will be at your hotel to pick you up. He shall smoothly drive you to Kathmandu airport for your flight back home.

When is the best time to do this tour?

This can be done all year round. Nonetheless, the monsoon which is from June to August might hinder you from getting stunning mountain views. Other than that, you can do this tour at any time of the year as your little vacation to escape a busy life. The best time would be spring, autumn, and winter to do this wonderful tour.

Will you provide airport pick up and drop off services?

We do provide airport pick up and drop off services to our clients. We have a staff appointed for the airport pick up and drop off. It is easy to recognize him, as he will carry the placard of the Nepal Hiking Team. He will smoothly drive you to your trip Hotel. And for the drop-off, our office representative will be at your hotel approx. 3 hours before your departure time to escort you to the airport.

Is this tour available privately?

Yes, this tour is available privately. We organize a private tour for solo travelers as well as for a group of 2 or more.

Can we modify the itinerary of the tour?

Yes, you can modify the itinerary of the tour but to be able to do that, you have to do a private tour. For a group joining tours, we cannot make any modifications in the middle of the tours as there will be clients who would want to be at the destination as appointed in the itinerary. Hence, unless it is a private tour, we cannot make any modifications to the planned itinerary.

Is hiking to Nagarkot very difficult?

No, hiking to Nagarkot is not difficult. The hike is about 3-4 hours in total from Sankhu. You will easily reach the place of accommodation smoothly. Besides, it is not located at high altitude so there is no danger of getting altitude sickness. Nonetheless, drinking water is very important.

What type of transportation do you use for the tour?

For our tours, we use tourist vans, cars, minibuses, HI-ACE vans, or tourister buses. We mostly choose the vehicle depending upon the number of travelers for the tour. All the vehicles we use are comfortable and clean.

Will the tour operator provide mineral water for the travelers?
