The relishing adventure of paddling in between the deepest gorge of the world can be experienced nowhere but in the Kali Gandaki river of Nepal. Fighting with the challenge of white water rapids in the backdrop of Annapurna panorama and Dhaulagiri Himal, admiring the waterfalls cascading from the top of the cliff, Kali Gandaki Rafting is a mind blowing fusion of natural and adventure.
The Kali Gandaki River has been recently opened for rafting purpose in 1991 but has gained its charm vigorously and the credit goes to challenging water rapids, mountain scenery, stunning waterfalls, unique culture and typical wild landscape of Kagbeni. You can continuously experience the Class III and Class IV rapids as you raft in the water of Kaligandaki. As the rafting is quite technical and full of huge rapids, prior experience of rafting and swimming capacity is highly recommended.
Initially, we take a drive for around six hours to Pokhara and head towards Beni. As we reach the riverside, we unload our gears and fuel ourselves with delicious food. We take a short briefing about our Kali Gandaki rafting journey from the instructor and learn few rafting techniques. We load ourselves with the gears and take necessary precautions for rating experience. We then continue for actual rafting experience. In our three days rafting journey, we will experience the thrill of white water to the fullest

Approx. 7:30 we will drive to Beni, about a 3 hour trip. Once arriving we will unload the gear, eat lunch and load the rafts. Here we will have our safety briefing after which we depart. After a brief warm we encounter 2 big class 4 rapids "little Brother" and "Big Brother". After scouting the rapid’s safety kayaks will descend followed by the rafts. The confluence of the Modi Khola marks arrival of our evening campsite. Here we will unload the rafts while our team prepares dinner while you relax, take in the scenery, or play volleyball. Day 2: Riverside camp to Riverside Camp
Waking up to the peaceful sounds of river life is an amazing experience. Once you crawl out of your tent or out from under the raft, hot tea and coffee will be ready and waiting for you. It’s time now to pack up the tents and load our gear before a hearty breakfast to fill our bellies for the days rafting. We have an action packed day of rapids and unplanned swims. Taking lunch on a sandy beach gives us all time to rest and play in the shallow water before heading on to our night time camping place. [Overnight in a tented riverside camp; 5 hours rafting] Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 3: Riverside Camp to Pokhara
We have a pleasant morning of playing in some waves on the river and a gentle paddle across the placid waters before the dam. A great time for playing games, having a crack at kayaking or swimming. Around midmorning we will reach our take out point just below Seti Beni for the bus ride back to Pokhara. We arrive in time for a hot shower just before happy hour where we share tales of our river adventure. [Overnight in Pokhara; 3 hours rafting / 3 hours driving] Breakfast and Lunch included.
