Tours start with a road trip from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. This journey provides a great and interesting chance to see the beautiful landscapes of Nepal, flowing rivers, green forests, and the peaceful villages of the Terai region. The drive is enjoyable as one can capture various scenic views and feel energized throughout the journey.
On arrival at Chitwan National Park, you will be greeted and orientated on the exciting things to expect during your stay. An orientation session is usually a comprehensive session that provides the necessary information regarding the park, the rules of conduct and safety measures during the stay, and the activities that are included in the tour.
After that, you will head to witness the culture of the locals in the Tharu Village. This visit is cultural, which is a beautiful opportunity to meet the Tharu ethnic group, famous for their customs and lifestyle. When you walk in the village, you will be able to discover how the people there live their lives and what they do. You will also visit the National Park Visitor Center to learn more about the park and its wildlife. The prime seasons for spotting wildlife in Chitwan National Park are spring (March to May), autumn (September to November), and winter (December to February). During spring and autumn, you’ll get ideal weather with comfortable temperatures and clear views. Winter brings cooler days, but you’ll still enjoy bright, sunny skies throughout your trip.
We suggest skipping the monsoon months (June to August), as intense rains can make the journey uncomfortable and far less rewarding.

After breakfast, begin a guided jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park. The safari provides an opportunity to explore deeper sections of the forest, grasslands, wetlands, and wildlife habitats.
With an experienced nature guide, look for Chitwan's famous one-horned rhinoceroses, spotted deer, sambar deer, wild boars, monkeys, and numerous bird species. Although sightings can never be guaranteed, the park also provides habitat for sloth bears, wild elephants, leopards, and Bengal tigers.
