Traveller Review

  • Annapurna Circuit Trek with Asha

I completed the 12-day Annapurna Circuit with my guide, Asha, and porter, Raj. It was an incredible experience exploring this part of the Himalayas. Asha is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide who knows the terrain of Nepal remarkably well.

His gentle guidance and advice were invaluable as we climbed to higher altitudes, ensuring we stayed in clean, well-maintained hotels with excellent food. Asha, who speaks fluent English, shared his insights on Buddhism in Nepal, which was fascinating to learn. He was a supportive and kind guide, making this trip truly memorable.

Raj, my porter, was also excellent at his job, ensuring my luggage was safely and swiftly transported from place to place. He was polite and friendly, and we shared many laughs! I was particularly impressed with how easily he managed the challenging Thorong La Pass.

We also stayed in nice hotels in Kathmandu (Woodapple Hotel) and Pokhara.

My only feedback for the company is regarding the tour arrangement. I booked this as a group tour, but it turned out to be a solo adventure. While I met many people along the way, I would have appreciated knowing in advance that I would be traveling alone.
