I reached out to Nepal Hiking Team to organise a solo trip for November/December, and from the very beginning, the experience was excellent. Ganga Thapa, the founder and owner of the travel agency, quickly understood exactly what I was looking for and put together a tailored 9-day trek to suit my needs.

The team was extremely responsive throughout the planning and booking process, providing clear information and patiently answering all of my questions. The trip itself was very well organised, and everything ran smoothly because they paid attention to detail. I found the whole team to be reliable, professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful.

The guide I had in Kathmandu, Dinesh, was exceptional, with incredible knowledge and a passion for his city, sharing its history and culture in a very engaging way while his pride in his country shone through. He also made sure I got to experience the local food and people up close. The day never felt rushed, even though we went well beyond the agreed-upon time.

The trekking guides, Ramsaran Adhikari and Sankhar, were also excellent, professional, supportive, and flexible throughout the whole journey. They constantly checked in, encouraged me along the treks, and made sure I had everything I needed at the lodges. In fact, everyone I met from the Nepal Hiking Team, including the drivers, was really nice and helpful. I always felt completely safe and well looked after.

This trip had been on my bucket list for a long time, and trekking in the shadows of Annapurna was incredibly special. Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas each morning was surreal, and exploring the natural beauty was an experience I’m sure will stay with me for many years to come.

The Everest Base Camp trek was unlike anything else. It was challenging yet very rewarding. I went in November, and the weather was great. Although the day was nice and clear, the nights were cold. I loved working with Nepal Hiking Team to make this trip happen. All thanks to our lead guide, Deepak Dhakal, and our 2 assistant guides, Manu and Prem, for managing a group of 10. They made us feel safe, taken care of, and had fun throughout the whole trip. They made this trek a one-of-a-kind and exceptional experience. I highly recommend the EBC trek, Nepal Hiking Team, and most importantly, our guides who made this possible.

We had planned and booked a private two-person tour with Nepal Hiking Team that included time in Kathmandu, a five-day trek in the Annapurna region, and a five-day visit to the Manang area.

The pre-trip communication was reliable and efficient, all thanks to their team for being patient and helpful throughout the process. All our questions during the planning phase were answered quickly, making the preparation straightforward and smooth. 

Our guide, Arjun Dahal, was very professional and attentive throughout the trip. He has insights about the local regions and ensured everything ran smoothly during the whole trip. Also, our porter, Ratna, provided excellent service during the trek and was consistently reliable and helpful. 

The itinerary was well executed, from pickup to drop-offs, and the logistics were handled professionally. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend Nepal Hiking Team to anyone planning a trekking trip in Nepal.

I recently did the 14-day Annapurna Circuit trek with the Nepal Hiking Team.

The Nepal Hiking Team organised everything right from our pickup at the airport to our drop-off at the end of the trip, and the quality of service was incredible, making it feel as if we didn’t lift a finger the entire trip.

The trek was incredible, but was uplifted even further by our excellent staff, Prakash Sapkota, our head guide, Basu, our assistant guide, and our three amazing porters.

The whole team was friendly, funny, and professional. Our porters were the friendliest and the hardest-working people I have ever met. Despite the language barrier, we managed to play cards and still became friends.

Basu, a professional, experienced, and fun guide, made us laugh and always wore a smile. Although he has walked the trail multiple times, he still made sure that we enjoyed it ourselves on our first time.

I would recommend the Nepal Hiking Team to anyone visiting Nepal for a future trek. They offer an excellent service at a competitive price without a doubt.
