I was picked up from the airport by Rajendra, the guide, and was then taken to my hotel, from where I started my trekking journey of the Langtang Valley. It was beautiful, and I really enjoyed it. The most stood-out aspect of the trek for me would definitely be the culture and the lifestyle of the people in that area. I mean, the natural beauty itself is quite wonderful and amazing, but, for me personally, I loved the whole experience of the people and talking to them and hearing their stories. The visit to the monastery there was enlightening and I learned a lot about the cultural aspects of the valley. I liked their hassle free day to day life and it’s a proven commodity for me really, that this is the kind of hassle free life is the one I would like to lead once I am old and retired! A life in valley among the Himalayas would be the ultimate dream-come-true for me! But, for now, I was satisfied with just visiting this paradise. The very atmosphere at the valley and the trekking journey has a life of its own, and its tranquility is spell-binding. Nepal Hiking Team, as expected, delivered the best services to me, and all of the proper arrangements were all done brilliantly. They did a wonderful job with the trekking journey and I enjoyed every moment of it!
