I did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Nepal Hiking Team last year and it was the most amazing and Exceptional trip of my life! Chuda Mani picked us up at the airport with garlands of marigold and silk scarves, which was a very touching hospitable Nepali welcome. Then, as we were driven to the hotel, he explained our program to us about the Everest Base Camp. The sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley was very insightful as well. We had the tour of the valley before we started out trek to the base camp of Everest. The heritage sights in Kathmandu and the durbar squares were nice and very wonderful to look at. The valley of Kathmandu, or the city more like, was crowded with people and the area around Thamel, which is where we had our hotel’s location as well, was filled with so many shops at every corner of the street and small temples, it was bizarre! The trek ten started with the flight to Lukla, and the trekking journey all the way to the base camp of Everest was wonderful! The many tiny villages and the settlements along the trail were different from the crowded Kathmandu and provided a drastic change in scenery from the city. The villages had the feeling of being so far away from the busyness of the city and the people seemed much calmer and peaceful there.
The lifestyle of the people in those village areas was genuinely inspiring and I enjoyed my time there a lot. The guesthouses and the tiny lodges that we were accommodated in were comfortable and the people were hospitable, in fact the higher we trekked, the more hospitable they were! Chuda Mani then proceeded to guide us throughout the trekking journey and the sceneries of the mountains and the villages were everything I had imagined it would be. The settlement at Namche was beautiful, and we had a look around the Art Gallery as well the Sherpa Culture Museum as well. The sights of the mountains were extraordinary! Nepal Hiking Team managed everything, and all of the transactions and the arrangements were done skillfully. The guide, Mr. Chuda Mani Thapa, was also extremely helpful. The staffs at the head office were also available all the time to me, which was super convenient.
I loved my vacation in Nepal, climbing to the Everest Base Camp. Nepal Hiking Team did a wonderful and satisfactory job in accompanying me in my journey. The trek was also doe in a very reasonable price for me, and I would definitely recommend Nepal Hiking Team to people.
