From our first communication, Ganga the Managing Director was responsive and extremely helpful. We arrived in Nepal late at night and were met personally by Ganga and escorted to our hotel where he assisted us in checking in. The next day we were taken on a tour of Kathmandu, then had a team briefing to explain the process for the trek and to meet our head guide, Bhim Adhikari. Our trek commenced the following day and throughout the entire trip our team of porters and our guides were attentive, personable and supportive. Bhim was outstanding and it felt as though every other guide and porter knew him or knew of him. Our assistant guide Tilak, along with our porters Meg Raj, Okil, and Ram Lamichane did everything they could to ensure we were safe and enjoying our trip.
Unfortunately a few of our hiking group became ill with altitude sickness and were evacuated, however once again Bhim, Tilak, the porters and Ganga ensured they were supported and safe.
Base camp, Chola Pass and Gokyo were stunning and most certainly worth the time and effort taken to see and experience them. Thank you NHT for your excellent organisation - it was a pleasure to trek with this company.
