I recently returned from Nepal after finishing EBC Trek. Prior to booking my trip I talked with 8 different companies all with superb trip advisor reviews. After communicating with different companies and negotiating a price, I was determined to go with Nepal Hiking Team. I was welcomed by the team after two days of flying to get to Kathmandu at 11:30pm with cheerfulness and I was transferred to the hotel from the airport.
The EBC trek was much more amazing with Shiva as my guide. He tried his best to make sure everything was well. On several occasions, he used to ask if there was anything else he could do to make my experience best. He was much concerned about my health and he consistently made sure I was doing okay while hiking every day. He also informed that slow walk will help to avoid altitude sickness and we did. People reached to the destination before an hour or 2 than us and some of those trekkers ended up falling sick. Shiva, therefore said, "This is why we take our own time, there is no rush for us." I felt accomplished reaching EBC, and Shiva played an important role to help me reach safely. I know Ganga and Hari are running NHT and I credit them for a job well done. Guides are polite and they put the client first. I hope people read this review and distinguish Shiva’s well done job.
The Chitwan jungle safari experience was also great. The company arranged a bus for me and also provided transport to get to the bus as well as to pick me up. The guide in Chitwan was much knowledgeable and passionate about his job, which made the tour worthwhile.
I also experienced Kathmandu sightseeing tour around the main sites which provided me with a lot of information about Kathmandu. Some of which, I revisited on my own time.
