My husband and I did the amazing short Everest Base Camp Trek with Nepal Hiking Team just recently, and we have nothing but good things to say about our wonderful experience. Let me start off with how wonderful our guide Bal Kumar was, along with our trusted porter Raju. From making sure that we were comfortable and capable-to-continue to pre-arranging the accommodations and the food- Bal Kumar was there at every step of the way. He hiked with us throughout the journey, and aside from having his company, we were also very lucky because Bal Kumar shared his stories about the culture and traditions of the villages and the mountains as we made our way. It added a lot of authentic feeling to the journey, which we are really grateful for.
At every moment, Bal Kumar was asking us if we were okey and his experience in the field also really showed as he would arrange for the services without us having to enquire about them first. We were also just a phone call away from the main office of the company and with Mr. Ganga and Mr. Balaram should we have had any problems. I did feel a little altitude sickness when we were at Namche Bazaar, but Bal Kumar made sure that I had enough rest and proper medicine before continuing. He was completely fine, hiking with us in our own pacing and not making us rush forward. Because of this, we were able to really enjoy our trip without hassles.
I am very grateful to Nepal Hiking Team for arranging this trip as we could not have asked for a more convenient and comfortable journey to the Himalayas! Nepal Hiking Team really takes care of their customers and we were so glad to be under the care of such nice and wonderful people. Thank You NHT for a beautiful trip! We will be sure to go with Nepal Hiking Team again if we ever visit Nepal in the future once more!
