The Langtang trekking is populated by Sherpa and Tamang families and offers splendid varieties of natural and cultural diversity with spectacular Himalayan views. Langtang, Gosainkunda, Helambu, Panch Pokhari and Tamang heritage are the major areas for trekking in Langtang region. From here we can experience the lifestyles of diverse ethnic groups along the trail, which follows ancient trading routes and passes through prosperous trading villages.
Langtang trekking combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang with the high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda and the beautiful Helambu Valley. Visit the beautiful Langtang National park and then trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful ice flutes of Gyanghempo. Langtang Trek provides splendid varieties of natural and cultural diversity with spectacular Himalayan views from Annapurna in the west to Makalu in the east. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. It also provides different experiences that could not be found elsewhere and has over 70 glaciers of varying sizes; the Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges including Gosainkunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda, Dudhkunda etc are the important sacred places of Hindus and Buddhists. This region is popular for its culture, religion and a splendid Himalaya range, beautiful waterfalls and green forests.
