Naya Kanga Peak Climbing

Naya Kanga Peak is also known as Ganja La Chuli, rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. Naya Kanga is a shapely mountain rising to the west of the Ganja La (5122m) pass giving access to Helambu and the Kathmandu Valley.

Naya Kanga Peak Climbing offers the spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m). The normal route of ascent on Naya Kanga is via the North-East Ridge, an aesthetic line on snow and ice, classically alpine in character.

Naya Kanga Peak also known as Ganja La Chuli is a popular trekking peak in Nepal situated in Langtang region, Naya Kanga (Ganja La Chuli) is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La (5,122m). The most important reward of Naya Kanga peak climbing is the spectacular views of Langtang mountains, Helambu mountains range including Dorje Lakpa and others beside this.Close to the north side can be seen Tibetan mountain Shisapangma 8035m.

This peak climbing is strenuous therefore a high level of physical fitness is essential. Climbing the mountain, we will trek through a number of interesting Sherpa village

Day to day Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple , Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Tour Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu valley including Kathmandu durbar square, swoyambhunath stupa, Boudha and Pashupati temple and back to hotel, prepare for the trekking, overnight at hotel, B.B.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to dunche and Syabru besi(1460m) overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 04: Shyabru besi - Lama Hotel (2410m) overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 05: Lama Hotel - Langtang (3339m) overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 06: Langtang - Kyanjing Gompa 3800m. overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa rest/acclimatization overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 08: Kyanjing Gompa - Naya Kanga Bese camp 4400m. , Overnight at tented camp,B.L.D.

Day 17: Gosainkund - Ghopte (3440) via 4600m pass overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 19: Mangegot - Kutumsang (2470m) overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 20: Kutumsang- Chisopani (2215m) overnight at guest house, B.L.D

Day 21: Chisopani -Sundarijal (1460m) & drive to KTM/ overnight at hotel, B.B

Day 22: Lesuire day in Kathmandu. B.B

Day 23: Our airport representative will drop you to airport by private vehicle for your final departure.
