Nagarkot is situated east of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of about 1800 meters. This spot is popular for mountain views particularly at sunrise and sunset. From this place some mountains above 6000 meters, Annapurna (8091m), Manasalu (8165m), Ganesh Himal (7446m) and Lantang Lirung (7245m) can be seen. This is also a one day trip from Kathmandu.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight at hotel. B.B

Day 02: Trek Preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Pasupatinath Temple. Overnight at hotel. B.B

Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani (2150m) 5 hrs.
We pick you at your hotel in the morning and we drive to Sundarijal. We start hiking from this point, the trail will enter through the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The first settlement you will come across is Mulkharka with Tamang habitants. The route heads down the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisapani. Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D

Day 04: Trek to Nagarkot (2175m) 5 hrs.
Your trek starts to Chauki Bhanjyang, which takes about 2 and half hours. You continue the charming trails leading you toward Nagarkot. Nagarkot is by far one of the most popular destinations. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty. Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur
Early the morning, you begin the day with a stunning sunrise view and together magical Himalayan panorama dominating the sky. We will be served rousing breakfast before driving back to Kathmandu. Upon arriving Kathmandu, we catch with extensive sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Darbar square, which is rich in fascinating architectural temples, shrines like Lion gate, Golden Gate, and the palace of 55 windows. Day 06: Final Departure to your onward destination. "Farewell"B.
