Lobuche Peak is situated close to Khumbu Glacier in Everest Region, offers an attractive climb summit with a variety of existing routes and wide scope for new lines. Lobuche Peak is one of the popular trekking peaks in the Himalayan country of Nepal. The peak is an attractive summit and offers several triails for climbing.
There exist two distinct summits to Lobuche peak: Lobuche east (6119m) and Lobuche west (6145m), although they are connected by a continuous edge and they have sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. The trekking peak permit is for the east peak, at the same time as Lobuche west seen at the head of the Lobuche glacier.
From the summit, we have a great view of Mt. Everest, Amadablam etc and a 360 degree Himalayan panorama that include all important peaks in the Khumbu Valley. This Lobuche peak climbing is a beautiful climb with some technical challenges.

It is the spiritual center of the Khumbu; the climb is long, but more than adequately compensated by views of Mt. Amadablam and on a clear day, views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks. Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4410m) 5 hours
Descend through a beautiful forest then cross the Imja Khola and trek through the village of Pangboche (3900m); perhaps today is the most interesting trekking because you will not lose altitude like on other days and you will enjoy views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse & other peaks; the route continues through pastures to Dingboche, known as the 'summer valley'. Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 08: Hiking to Chhukung Ri and back to Dingboche (5546 mtrs) 7 hours.

Day 11: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5400m) and return Gorekshep (5180m) 7 hours
This morning commences with your Mount Everest Base Camp destination through a scree trail. There is not much elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs and, combined with altitude, this can be a tiring portion- but the journey is worth it. After approximately 3 hrs of hiking you will arrive at Base Camp and enjoy views of the Khumbu Glacier and icefall, where Everest expeditions begin. Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 12: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m) - Gorekshep - Lobuche peak base camp (4910m) 6 hours.
The day starts with a hike up to Kalapattar (5545m), the best viewpoint to witness Mt. Everest and the spectacular Himalayan range. Then trek back to Gorekshep for hot breakfast and then descend to Lobuche(4910m). Overnight at tented camp. B.L.D
Pre-Climb Training: After lunch, our guides will provide training on peak climbing techniques and using climbing gears such as ice axe, climbing boot and crampons, harness, ascender, etc and on how to go up and down using ropes. Although it is not mandatory to have prior training experience for Lobuche peak climbing. we believe that some training experience will boost up your confidence and climbing skills, thus increasing the chances of scaling the summit as well as to fully enjoy the experience.
Day 13: Summit to Lobuche east peak (6119 meters) then back to Base Camp.
Today is our main adventure day, we start early in the morning to climb Lobuche peak but it all depends on the weather condition. it takes about ten hours. At the summit you will catch panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri and more. After a safe trip to the top we safely make our way down then same day back to base camp. Overnight at tented camp. B.L.D
Day 14:Â Reserve day for contingency
There is no such guarantee that we can get quite a favorable weather on our planned day for the summit (day 13), so this day is used as a contingency in case if we are unable to summit the Lobuche on day 13 due to bad weather condition or some other reasons. If weather gets exceptionally unfavorable we wisely have to postpone the program of summiting the peak. Sometimes somebody in the group may get some problems in acclimatizing well enough to make the ascent; the day can be used in that condition too. If the trip goes smoothly, we do not need this spare day.
Day 15: Trek to Pangboche (4000 meters) 6 hours.
We then descend to Pangboche at elevation of 4000 meters. Overnight at guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 16 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441meters)). 5 hours
