Q. Do I need travel insurance?
A. Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. Without travel insurance you won't be allowed to join our tour.
Q. Do I have to join a group for Everest base camp trek?
A. You don't need to join a group, you can trek whenever works out best for you. Private trip departs every day upon your request which is best suited for couples, families and small groups of friends. We are happy to organize your trip according by your selecting starting date.
Q. Will somebody come to pick me up at the airport upon my arrival?
A. Our Airport Representative will come to the airport to pick you up, outside of terminal hall; he will be showing you Nepal Hiking Team display board with your name on it.
Q. What are the sleeping arrangements while I am in Kathmandu & mountain?
A. Our company will provide Three/Four star hotel in Kathmandu with inclusive of breakfast and during the trek we stay in basic, but clean and comfortable teahouses or lodges.
Q. What type of shape do I need to be for this trip?
A.  Our Everest Base Camp Trek is suitable for average people who are good health & moderately fit, thus no previous experience is required however to get condition for this trip, some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, hiking is recommended before you embark on journey. Person who is suffering from pre-existing diseases must seek medical advice with your doctor before considering this trip. Whilst on the trek, it is common to experience some discomfort before being fully acclimatized.
Q. Is there any risk?
A. Trekking in remote, high altitude settings have inherent risks. However we operate Everest Base Camp Trek with impeccable detail with regards to your comfort and safety. We trek slowly and have created an itinerary where there is enough time to acclimatize. It's normal for us to have a 100% success rate.
Q. What is the best time for Everest base camp trek?
A. We recommend anytime between 15th February to 15th June in spring & 15th September to end of December in autumn however, rest of the months are okay and trek can be done but not as much as nice comparing those season due to winter & raining respectably.
Q. Is the food/water safe to drink during the trek?
A. during Everest Base Camp Trek - your guide will advise you on what you should and shouldn’t eat and drink. The food at the places you will be staying is all safe to eat. Water you can buy bottled or bring along purification tablets. Every lodges/guest house also serves both boiled and filtered water on cheaper price for you to treat accordingly.

Q. Do you offer tailor-made trip?
A. Yes! If our set itinerary is does not meet your interest, plan or in any cases, please kindly contact us for tailor made itinerary.
Q. Can I charge my camera batteries along the trek? And how much does it cost?
A. Most of the guesthouses offer recharge services; please bring your adaptor with you and approximately is USD 2-3 per hour.
Q. What is the weather & temperature like during the trek?
A. Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are generally warm. There will be snow during the month of December and February. It is important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to -10 deg C low.
