Everest View Trek
Everest View Trek program is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture, a very popular destination for first timer in Nepal. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture, close-up and fabulous views of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam etc., without the struggle with high altitude. The Everest View Trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer trek reaching up to Everest Base Camp. Many people wish to see Everest up close but they do not have time to reach all the way to Everest Base Camp Trek or they might not be well prepared physically for a walk up to Everest base camp but still its obvious that all people wish to get a close view of magnificent high peaks of the world. The Everest View Trek is an ideal tour program for them. If you want to trek together with your family with your elderly parents and little children, and want to see the mighty Everest up close, the Sherpa culture, monasteries, etc. The Everest Panorama Trek is perfect program for you.
The Everest View Trek is a comparatively easy walk in the foothills of Mount Everest that starts with an easy stroll along the world heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley, where we gain a first distant view of Everest in a clear day. A short flight then takes us up into the Khumbu, the Sherpaland, a region of ancient monasteries, high peaks and valleys in the shadow of the world's greatest peak. Here, our stress-free week of trekking allows us to experience the unparalleled mountain scenery of the Khumbu, including the classic view of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse, and several others. The following days trekking will bring you to the village of Tengboche (3860m), home to the highest Buddhist monastery in the world that is also well known among photographers as one of the best places to capture the splendid beauty of Mt. Everest (8848m) and its adjoining peaks.
The final days of this venture will be spent in the delightful and scenic villages of Khumjung and Jorsale, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the legendary Sherpa people and participate in their astonishing traditional lifestyle. Walk down to Lukla from where you will take a short flight back to Kathmandu, enjoying the last views of the awe-inspiring Himalayan range and its people which announce the end of this marvelous trek.
