Dhulikhel Balthali Village Hiking

Dhulikhel is situated in the central part of Nepal and is just 32 km from the Kathmandu valley. The main attractions of Dhulikhel are the grand and panoramic mountains views, numerous temples, and different types of landscape and a diversity of people. It is a popular Himalayan viewpoint. From here we can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. We can also take a day trip to the Tibet border or Tatopani from here. Tatopani is famous for hot sulfur spring.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight at Kathmandu.

    Day 02: Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath stupa & Pashupatinath. Overnight at Kathmandu.

    Day 03: After the breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Square then drive to Dhulikhel for spectacular sunset view over the Himalayas. Overnight at Dhulikhel.

    Day 04: Hiking to Balthali via Namo Buddha. Overnight at Balthali Village resort.

    Day 05: Balthali, Explore around Villages. Overnight at Balthali village resort.

    Day 06: Hiking back to Panauti then drive to Kathmandu by surface. Overnight at Kathmandu.

    Day 07: Transfer to the International airport to connect onward destination or Join another programs with Nepal Hiking Team.

6. Personal clothing and equipments.
7. Tips for guide and driver. (Tipping is expected).
