I can highly recommend the Nepal Hiking Team. I have booked through that company already 2 times and if I go back to Nepal I will book through Nepal Hiking Team again.
My first experience was in November 2007. I had booked a single trekking for Annapurna circuit. It was perfect organized, the guide was very professional, and spoke very good English. Guide and porter were well equipped which is in my opinion also very important.
In April 2010 I had booked another trip through this company. I did a 20 day trip including Everest base camp, Kalapattar, Gokyo, and passing Chola pass. A single trek. Also this time I was completely satisfied. Again I had a very professional guide and you could tell straight away that he has many years of experience.
The company is very professional. Guides seem to me as I had 2 times the experience all very professional and speak very well English and guides know the region very well. They are also very responsible and really take care for customers
I cannot think of something that was not good or could have been better. For me it seems this is really a great company helpful responsible reliable very professional. One day I will go back to Nepal and there is no way that I would give a try to another company, because this one I had already 2 times an excellent experience.

We had never been to Nepal before or indeed done any trekking. I can honestly say that this was the best holiday ever, and that it was made better by Nepal Hiking Team. The guides, porters, accommodation (Tented /Hotel) and food were wonderful. We had the most amazing trekking in the Annapurna South region, and we were very happy to travel together with our guide Hari Shrestha. This was our first trekking trip and it was nice to know that we were traveling with a guide that was familiar in the area.

I travelled to Nepal to undertake the EBC trek in late 2003. My guide, Ganga Thapa, was there to greet me from the moment I arrived in the wonderful chaos that is Kathmandu. I travelled to Nepal on my own but I immediately knew I was going to be well looked after. And I was right. Within the first few hours of our trek Ganga had already worked out just how far I could walk before I needed a rest (or a cup of tea and a biscuit!) and when I wanted to walk and talk together versus when I wanted to walk alone and enjoy the solitude. The mountains are spectacular, and nothing I have experienced since can match the feeling of peace that comes with every new view of the Himalaya, not least of all the awe inspiring ones standing atop Kalapatthar at first light. But what really stood out for me about this experience were not the mountains. It was the people of Nepal. When I fell ill along the trail, Ganga was by my side every meal time encouraging me to build back my strength so I could continue on. When bad weather had us stranded at Lukla, he pulled out all stops to get me on the earliest flight out. On occasions where I happened to be the lone tourist in a hut at night, I was included in dinner conversation with the locals. He shared his culture with me, and I found myself able to converse with him about all manner of topics I hadn't thought a guide in Nepal could possibly have such knowledge on. I am very fortunate to have had a wonderful guide in Ganga, and even better, to have met someone with whom I remain in touch to this day. I can't recommend him strongly enough!

We came to Kathmandu to do the Everest Base Camp Trek and we went to a few trekking companies before coming to Nepal Hiking Team, we felt so confident about going trekking with these guys so we booked the next day. We had a fantastic time on the trek and we are so glad because we learnt so much more about our surroundings and the culture than we would have our own. We didn't have any hassles finding lodges and food because it was all arranged for us.
This was our first big trek and we will definitely come back to Nepal and trek with these guys again!! the whole trek was amazing(although hard work!!). The scenery, the people, the guide and the porter made our trip one we will never forget!

I want to start with a big THANK YOU to Nepal Hiking Team for a very wonderful tour. All of us had a really enjoyable time on the tour you put together for us. The most unexpected aspect of the trip was the wide variety of terrain and geography around Nepal.
I expected only grassy mountains, but the mighty Himalayas were beautiful and the rafting was so much pleasurable and the hike, totally different than what we used to do here in our country. Nepal is really a heaven.
